Superb video, and great music. Extremely well done.
Seem like you had a blast of a trip

About the vertical lines, that was from my LX3, not from the K-7

Great video, nice departure from the usual cell phone panning shots of vacations that I see elsewhere

The cut-scenes of the flight path overlaid on a map are from stock iMovie themes.

Very nice work. You have a creative eye and a great sense of editorial timing with your cuts.

Superb.

The video out of the K-7 is truly impressive. I'm not the K-7's biggest fan, infact I'm more annoyed at Pentax Europe for their crazy pricing as opposed to the K-7 itself, but I'm finding the video functionality an interesting prospect.

Just came from Cambodia and Vietnam along with my K-7 + lenses and my LX3. While I did take photos, the highlight for the trip was video. It's my first time to really dabble into video and editing and I'm having very positive vibes about it

Nice work Diego!
I agree with your blog post too. ipod plus video makes for good creativity!
What SD card type are you using? Did you have any heat issues at all? I just got my first thermometer warning last night and was bummed.

Thank you!

I'm using Sandisk Extreme III 30MB/s cards. Heat issues? I did get the thermometer warning a few times after using the video for a while, but that's very normal. Both of my 50D bodies gets that after using Live View for a while. It also depends on the temperature of the place you're at. Didn't find it a problem!

Whoa, what a wicked video..!! and to add to the beauty of it, great editing and music. The focus / mis-focus has added a great feel to the whole video.

Bet no one can say it's been shot with a D-SLR.

Cheers
Nish
