I dont really think this forum will 'steal' users from dpreview

, but another one is nice to have to supplement it. There is in fact another Pentax user forum already at http://www.pentaxuser.co.uk/forum/ that has been around for awhile. I do very much like the user friendly forum interface here. One minor suggestion for this forum though: The fonts could be darker to make them easier to read

Hi Guys. I signed up yesterday and I really hope this site grows.. Software is so much better than DPReview. And it seems that with the basic skin it is loading a little faster.

I already send the link to this forum to a couple of Pentax owners.

I really like the site. I am used to Jel-soft system. Of 4 main sites I visit 3 are Jel-soft (4/3 photo, bentrideronline, and this site). The only one that isn't is DPR. I am sure this place will grow quickly. I am on dialup and didn't really notice any speed problems. Tomorrow I will see how it does on highspeed cable at work. Mo, thanks for all the work you've done.
It really would be great if you could get together with Pentaxium and have more Pentax world shoot days. The last one was a lot of fun. It even was mentioned on the Pentax company site.

Nice to have another (less public than dpreview?) place to exchange our views. I'm already on a Dutch board with this same software, and it works very nicely!

I hope you will be able to manage bandwidth when the 14th comes!

Finland reporting in.

Common story I guess... I'm selling all of my canon gear (12mm to 500mm) and getting a K10D.

I'm a Pentax virgin, so please be gentle with me. This seems to be a nice place.
