Yup, looking forward to see what Pentax has up their sleeve for the new DSLR. I would love to see Pentax get away from the Sony sensor as I do not buy Sony junk products if I can help it.

Sony's being slow with their sensor- they're waiting for it to get popular in "their" SLR's first, which are junk.

But the Pentax DSLR's with that sensor will be top-of-the line: just look at how well the DS2 performs currently!

I never really noticed until the last couple of years that everything Sony I own outside of my Playstation and the sensor in my Ds is broken. Plus how long before Sony puts Digital Rights Management in their cameras : )

The Pentax/Samsung photo merger should bring good things to Pentax (Fast Memory, Sensor technology, excellent LCD screens). I really hope Samsung can get a sensor on the market as there are bad Sony 10MP sensor cameras out. The A100 at low ISO looks gret but noise just destroys the pictures at anything above 100. Quality of the D80 pics? D200 noise is horrid.

I'm not impressed with the new 400D either as I think Canon did a better job with the 350D and the 30D.

Pentax is going to have to WOW me with the K10D if I am going to upgrade to 10MP camera.
