If so, I would appreciate any info and links for details.

Thanks!

You mean use AF button as the only means for AF?
Then, just go into custom settings, "AF Button Function" - 1, "AF By Press Halfway" - 2. That way, your camera won't initiate AF when you press the shutter, but when you press AF button on the back.

I think he is referring to the hack about getting back to the firmware which would allow K10D to to AF fine adjustment for individual lens much like the K20D.

there's a long thread about hacking the software and enabling the debug menu for k10, km/k2000 and k200's on this forum.

Back Focus Fix 10D

I was able to fix my K10D using the information from the hack site and from info from a link on Dpreview. Instructions were quite clear and I was able to do it without changing my 1.3 version firmware. Once you've done it, you realize it is so easy and is idiot proof. No need to use the Russian program etc., the debug program is already inside the K10D, just a matter of using a one line script and loading it onto an SD card.

Won't go into detail as the information has already been published.

Could you possibly do this with a Samsung GX-10?

NVM I found out you can. I am going to try this today...

I have read this quite a long time ago when I wanted to go Pentax but since I bought the K100D super and it didn't apply to me, I didn't pursue any further.
You might try to google it as I'm sure it would be a noteworthy news that it won't be posted on the web.
