Hotshoe flash trigger.

I`m trying to use a studio flash with my K100D, but are unable to trigger it with a regular hotshoe trigger..
No problem with my ME Supers and other cameras.

Known issue or do I need a trigger made especially for Pentax digital?

Could the hot shoe be defect? Have you tried to fire a flash attached directly to the hot shoe?

Problem solved!

K100D sold!

Thanks for answering Ole

When I reversed the polarity on my flash cable it finally worked.
So it seems it`s sensitive about the polarity, while my other cameras doesn`t care about + and - , they all still work with the reversed cable.

Btw, got K10D today

Thanks Amund for your post.
