Sticky flash button for K7

Long story short, some ****** spilt beer over my pride and joy and while i did get the worst of it off with a moist chucks cloth my flash button gets stuck all the time and i cant close my flash without physically touching the little tab that keeps it closed. Anyone had this problem and fixed it?

Ps. im forever in dept with the weather sealing. Lovin it =D
