Oh well, we tried. I fully appreciate the lure of a warm bed over a cold dark morning....I really do.
If you want to give sunset a go thats fine with me.

Here are a few from earlier this week on the Mississippi River in New Orleans. I was there at sunrise, but the sun didn't actually make an appearance until ~30 minutes later. These were all taken with the new Tamron 18-250 zoom on the K100D.

Well done Russ, like them all because they each capture an essence of a sunrise in their own way....not sure that actually makes any sense ....but I found something there.

Thanks! The funny thing is that they were all taken at the same spot (literally within a few feet of each other) within about 20-30 minutes. It's amazing how lighting, exposure, composition, etc can all give a completely different shot.
