Some great shots. Nothing better for taking photos than immersing yourself in the situation. And I guess other runners would be prepared to allow better photos from a photographer who had joined them in the event than a journo standing on the sidelines. His slideshow and comments were a real education for me, and it truly was a unique perspective.

But what a hero! Lugging a camera on a half marathon!
