Composition Technique

Hey SoccerJoe!

Great videos - sort of like a collage of candid video moments. I'm toying with the idea of trying my hand at some of the video stuff as well and this was certainly inspiring.

Just out of curiousity, I noticed that most of it seemed to be done in manual focus. Was wondering if you were filming using live view on the rear LCD or through the viewfinder. I would imagine a swivel LCD would be very handy shooting from waistlevel and other angles so i'm curious to know what sort of process you used.

Cheers!

Libby

Hi all, just got back from a 5 day trip to one of the northern provinces in my country > the Philippine Islands. The K-7 was fantastic. The size, the ergonomics, the build and the quality of the results... I'm a very happy photographer/video dabbler.

This is my 2nd video (my first one was the Cambodiaaaa one) and I'm really loving it.

Check it out here at my blog, which has the video embedded and a write-up: Disconnected. Connected.

You can also check it out on Vimeo:

Hope you guys like it!
