I`m sorry I just couldn't hold back. Your signature rocks.

GAH! When will people stop comparing in-camera jpegs taken at vastly different processing settings, with different lenses, and obviously different in-focus areas?? Surely anyone who cares so bloody much about per-pixel sharpness would shoot RAW and understands the flaws of such a comparison. But nooooo, every time a new camera shows up, the dpreview forums sharpen their rapiers and ready their dueling pistols. You can be sure that one such thread will pop up in in both brands' forums when the first shots are ever taken with a pre-production copy of the new camera, then when that prototype gets a new firmware, then when the first production model appears, then when someone finally compares RAWs (followed by 20 comparisons where the RAWs were developed differently).

jct us101, did you stick a bunch of blank lines at the end to further elongate your e-peen of a signature or is my browser being funny?

When they stop finding examples that "prove" their camera of choice is better.

And others will like neither.

I don't understand the logic of this... now, the 7D, 50D, XT1i are all APS-C sensor models... very confusiing... wonder what the next 60D will be, a successor of 7D or 50D. Interesting strategy....

GLXLR, you didn't read my first post, apparently.
I read it, twice, and nothing came to mind to reply to it. If you're going to diss posts made in a thread (that you're not reporting to the mods) then why make a thread?

All this is getting a tad existential.
Hmm...that's a tame version of what I was thinking

Surely you mean phat.

I'm no doubt in the minority on this site, but I actually like the size and shape of the Canon XXD cameras. Then again, I like my 1-series as well...
