K20D not triggering AF360FGZ in wireless mode

Hi Guys

I just upgraded my K100D to a K20D. One of the new features I was most interested in is being able to use the K20D to fire my AF360FGZ wirelessly. I have watched this youtube video,

I followed it to the letter, as follows

-I place the flash into wireless mode (Power switch between ON and OFF positions)
-I set the AF360 Sync Wireless switch to the S position.
-I slide the right side switch to the yellow Dot, and set the wireless channel to 1
-I slide the right switch back to the white dot.
-I turn on the K20D and I hear the flash make its "charging up" sound
-At this time, the LCD on my AF360 FGZ looks the same as the youtube video at time 4.09, except my AF360 has a little "fill" icon on the right side below the 24mm
- If I shoot with the K20D, the flash will fire.
- if I remove the AF360FGZ an place it on my light stand, and pop up the K20 on camera flash, and then shoot with the K20D, the AF360 will not fire.

Any idea what I might be doing wrong here?

Is your camera's flash mode set to wireless flash?
Also, make sure the body is in the same channel as the flash, by putting the unit on the hotshoie in wireless mode and half-pressing the shutter - this syncs the flash and camera channels. Can't think of anything else.

No problem! I guess the video kind of missed the mark in trying not to be specific to a particular camera model.

Hope you enjoy off-camera flash - it can be lots of fun.

Yeah, I followed it exactly but it didn't mention the wireless flash mode. But that's what makes forums great: Someone else inevitably knows and shares their info.

Yes, I have a lot to learn, but I am looking forward to it. Will open up lots of possibilities for product photography.
