K10D debug mode and 35 Limited macro

I am on firmware 1.30 and recently downloaded the debug mode for the K10D. I have noticed a big difference with my 35 Limited macro since making an adjustment of +100. However, something still does not seem right...perhaps I am asking too much from the lens/camera combo so I would like to know if anyone else out there has the K10D/35 Limited macro combo only and is using Debug mode with firmware 1.30? If so what AF adjustment did you find works the best?

Adjustment will be different for every lens/camera combo.

It may, but it would be nice to know what other users are putting in as an adjustment. I guess I am the only one who is using Debug mode with the K10D/35 Limited though.

What I mean is, every K10D will likely require a different adjustment (if it needs one at all), even using the same lens. There is no magic setting for a given lens + body combo, it's all dependent on the specific camera and the specific lens.

Just had a related question: The AF adjustment via the debug menu is a global adjustment and applies to any lens mounted, is this correct?

Yes, that's correct.

I have a +100 correction for my K10 which averages out nicely for all my lenses, including my DA35Macro.

Note that the effect of the adjustment varies between those lenses. I noticed the need for the adjustment first for my FA77. After the adjustment all my other lenses which focused nicely before the +100 adjustment, still do so.

I settled for +120 with my 35 Limited. My other two lenses are MF so I believe the AF adjustment is irrelevant for them.

Is there any point at all in loading the deburg program if you are using mainly manual focus lenses?

Late post, but I heard from another member that it affects the in-focus indicator.

Every camera will be different, but in my case I needed +130, which so far works rather well with all my lenses: DA18-55, DA50-200, DA*300, DA70, DA40, K28, M150, A50, DFA50.
