I've downloaded fwdc165b.bin and dragged it to a brand new 8Gig class 6 SDHC chip.

I hold the Menu button and turn it on.

after a few mins, instead of seeing it install, It takes me to
INITIAL SETTINGS
LANGUAGE ENGLISH >

I can't select anything.

I've tried it several times with the same effect.

when I put my old 2G standard SD, it boots up showing version 1.00

which means it's not upgrading.

Try performing the firmware upgrade with a non-SDHC card, 2GB or smaller.

that's exactly what I did and it worked fine.

Guess I was having a brain fart.

It took the update and I'm now running an 8Gig class 6 chip.

It works fine and seems to rapid fire better than my elcheapo 2Gig did.

display showing remaining pics is pegged at 999, and stays there as you take pics.

ready for the Airshow, and here comes the rain
