Lens Rental (Tamron, Pentax mount) in Brisbane?

Hey guys,

I am just wondering if anyone knows of somewhere I can hire a Tamron 28 - 75/2.8 lens for this coming Saturday. I'm not holding my breath, understanding how difficult it can be to even BUY the lens, but I figured I'd ask here.

I live on the Gold Coast (QLD, Australia) and work in Brisbane (QLD, Australia) so I'm interested if you know somewhere in either place.

might be worth asking on some australian photography forums,, i would consider it but i don't own that particular lens sorry

If you can afford to buy it - just do it. It's really a fantastic lens.
You'll use it over and over again.
If you buy from B&H, and order it now, you should get it by the weekend (esp. if you choose the quickest international shipping option).

I'd say you could walk into one of the camera shops and have a play, but of course, none of the shops'll have any Pentax on the shelves.
