Pentax's model line up is all over the place at the moment imo, its not really clear what is what. I bet a real k20d replacement is still coming and the k7 is a k200d replacement.
I believe you haven't really tried out the K-7 yet personallly and based your conclusion on the statements of some people here. maybe you should give it a little bit of a whirl. you might get surprised what it is capable of doing more than just a K20D with video and improved noise (chroma) output.
yes, I said Improved Noise output since there is less disruptive noise as to increased noise details. but aside from those two misconceptions regarding the K-7, you should need to to take a closer look.
