K-x ISO 6400 shots on flicker!

Check this out:

PENTAX K-x TEST (KX) ISO-6400 & CROSS PROCESS mode - a set on Flickr

Looks awesome! Actually a lot better than my trusty K10D ever was at ISO1600.

By looking at them?

There was a reason why I rarely ( if ever ) went ISO1600 with my K10d. Even this small it would look bad. These shots do not look bad tho.

Hope the author will post full-sized images soon.

They may not have to pro account (I think the standard account limits you, been awhile since I used flickr though).

That was pretty good! had K-x's kit lens been the WR version I think I'd abandon my trusty K100D and go with this... 'downgrade' from K10D

Personally I still prefer the K20D look than this new k-7 look though. The k-7 is more tamron (lens) than pentax if that makes any sense...

I'm am really amazed by these. I won't shoot at ISO 1600 on my K-2000 because the noise is higher than I find acceptable. But these show marked improvement! I see an upgrade in my future.

To those that are saying the pictures are too small, are you not logged into flickr? I can see at least 2 of the shots at 4288 x 2848 resolution and the others at 1027x768 but I'm logged into flickr with a pro account.
