New K7 firmware...

Seems like a new (as in "released on Oct 6") v1.01 firmware is out on Pentax.jp...

Same story as last "ghost" firmware : it's still v1.01, but it's not the same...

Last one was v1.01.09, this one is v1.01.13...

what is interesting is when I download it today it is a bigger download than the last time I downloaded the same file

9516KB today, 9504KB in july. But exploding the exe file generates files dated july 24 09 with same date and time.

Did you ran a MD5 hash on them? This would tell us if they are indeed different...

as a curiosity point here, does this mean that if I go back today, and get the last K10D and *istD releases, they might be improved over what I have in those cameras as well?

Whishful thinking any way

Seems like the "hot pixels with MLU (2s timer)" problem was fixed...
Who knows what else can hide in it?
