Now that my 400d is all boxed up again and waiting for a new owner to come along, ive been toying a bit more with our k100d. The other night i went to see a musical at my old school and took it along with me.
I was pleasantly surprised with how well it handled the low light situations of stage shooting. I was using iso 1600 and 3200 pretty much all night, mostly thanks to needing to rely on the sigma 28-80 f3.5-5.6 most of the time.
The meter was nearly always spot on and the noise is no where near as bad as i have seen from other cameras. But i have used 1600 and 3200 film in the past so compared to that its even more amazing

Now i cant wait to get my hands on a FA 31mm f1.8 limited and a FA 77mm f1.8 limited after i get my k10d.
