New? K7 from amazon

I just got my K7 in from amazon. I openend it up to check it out. There's no protective screen on the LCD. And there were fingerprints on it.... (not sure if they're mine or not.

Is the K7 supposed to come with one of those plastic film protectors for the lcd?

Thanks all!

Mine is from Amazon as well, did not come with a protective screen on the LCD, and there were no fingerprints as well.

As long as the shutter count is still low and there are no scratches then it's fine. I don't believe it's suppose to come with a LCD protector screen because my K-m didn't come with it when I first bought one. The fingerprint is there probably because someone probably decided to return it after receiving it.

Thanks for the replies all. I always have bad luck with big purchases so I freak out about stuff like this.

What do you mean by "Shutter Count" low ?, when I got my camera the "Shutter Count" was 276 and not 0 ?, is that ok ?, or that's the normal Quality Control testing before shipping from factory ?, thanks

Yes 276 is actually around the shutter count range for a new camera. I don't think anybody has ever received a brand new camera with a shutter count of 0 before.

Indeed. Some come with a lot more than that - mine had 600 shots from new:
