K100D Super Shake Reduction problem

It is simple,really..

When i use an A-series lens(i.e. smc-a 50mm 1.7),i can use the SR feature without any problems, but with F-series lenses,or my Tamron 28-75 2.8(i only got these anyway)SR is grayed out.Does it mean it can read the focal lenght,so it doesnt need me to select it?Or are there any problems?

If the SR menu is greyed out, it means the camera was able to figure out the focallength itslef (true of most if not all AF lenses). If the little hand lights up the viewfinder when you half press the shutter, you should be good to go.

Greyed out means your lens is communicating with the camera fully and the camera automatically knows what to set SR for that particular lens. When you have to set SR manually, little to no communication with said lens. More or less the same technology that tells the body what the focal length and apeture of AE lenses. Usually, like Marc said, most AF lenses fall into this category.
