K10D Comes through as usual

Just did the "Re-Charge" story for "NoName Magazine" using my trusty K10D's and tried out the 31 Limited, 12-24 and 16-45 for the whole shoot. The 16-45 and 12-24 are surprisingly sharp. I find they are bit faster than the 31 Limited. Not too obvious but that was the impression I got. Shot for over twelve hours completing 8 pages...Will post shortly. Coming out at the end of June.

NNM.

Ben

Cheers,
Christian

That is the first issue credits. I will be appearing in the next issue and the theme of the whole issue is called "Re-Load"..My story will be called "Re-Charge"..Unless they change it..Hope Not as it will be apparent when you see it..

After surfing several photo galleries I was continually impressed by the 16-45, so bought one. After about 1 year of use I feel it's best at f8-f16, to be avoided at f4.

Comments here lean me towards the 31 or 21 limited as I do some indoor questionable / low light shooting and the 16-45 is too slow in these circumstances. How is the 31 not as fast? Help a brother out.

The 31L is very fast, but I shoot under incredibly difficult lighting situations. It is a microscopic difference and perhaps I am wrong. I was sick during the shoot with a bad cold and little sleep as I always stress out before a shoot. Perhaps the reason for my poor reasoning or assessment. I haven't done any testing and won't. It is "Brutally" sharp and has beautiful "Bokeh"...One of my favorite lenses. It was just a bit too long for what I needed at the shoot. I averaged around 21-24 mm on that day..
