Pricing question re: Kx

Well, just placed an order for the navy blue K-x. Expected shipping date: 2nd half of November.

who did you go through? was it a body only kit?

I ordered it from Pentax themselves. It's the kit with lens, which I'll probably promptly resell.

Damn, the navy blue has a black kit lens. Maybe I can request a white body w/ black kit lens for easier re-selling

To be fair, I find that quick-shift is significantly more useful on telephoto lenses - they can take longer to hunt with the smaller aperture and FOV. In addition, in most of the shots w/ the 18-55mm, I'm not tracking something moving and can easily switch to MF b/c my hand is right under it.

However, lens hood is a must for it!
