canadian K-X buyers

I want a white K-X, it looks dam slick with a black lens, yet still retains somewhat 'pro' look of the DSLRs. However, I was told by a few local camera stores that they only carry the Black body and will not have colored options until new year.

Are there any other Canadian buyers that are in the same boat? how do you plan to deal with it? Is there a quality online store that ships the white models?

I have a time-constraint too, need to have the camera before I leave for Cuba on vacation this Christmas.

ouch, that sucks, if you REALLY need it maybe someone outside of canada can ship it to you. Word was that the White K-x was to be shipped in the US this week but no sign yet...

I really want a white body only, but I don't think that will happen. The only thing is I'd like to take some wildlife and the glare off of the body might scare some away!

Order from B&H. It shouldn't be that expensive given the current exchange rate.

B&H website shows that the camera is out of stock too. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah white isn't available in the US yet either; as Eruditass said, hopefully soon! I doubt it would be too costly to ship north of the border - the dollar was almost at par when I was up last week (no good for shopping that was for sure, haha).

You'd just lose it in the snow. Buy a pink one!

pink might attract people to check out what is in the snow.

If you get red or import a yellow one, I think people will stay away.
