post K-7 ISO 1250 and up

hi, would you please show us your K-7 shots, either processed or not, but please do not show something that's possible only with expensive software or extremely good skills of removing noise. Show just usual everyday shots,

I use lightroom 2 corel paintshop pro X2 so other than that, noise removing techniques are not known to me.

as far as I see now, K-7 is a bit worse in IQ than k20d up to 1250 and a bit better than k20d above that... am I right?

I currently own k20d and would really want to have all the features from k-7 so, i'm contemplating, whether to go for it or not, whether pictures from ISO 1250 will be better than K20d or should I wait for K7x or something..
I would go for kx but, I need more proffesional body +weatherseals..

People are not getting very good images above iso 800 with k7 .....

I disagree from you. K7 is better then k20 until iso 800. At iso 800 and after k7 is worse then k20d....

Where are they? I've compared plenty of files, and they all shows that K20d is beter than K-7 above iso800 in RAW format. also, the DPReview test showed the same thing.

I agree that the K-7 images to ISO640 are better, but after that the K20D produces better images IMO.

That seems rather a blanket statement, and one I'd strongly disagree with. I've gotten plenty of photos I'm very happy with, at well above ISO 800. I'm sure many other K-7 owners have, as well.

On this forum, for instance, many people are not happy with high iso results from k7.
And also tests against k20 suport the statement.

Of course every person is a person ....

it's hard to believe, how a picture can be better than K20d in low ISOs..

another thing i've noticed, that in pentax world such things as Dynamic range expanders such 200 dynamic range on k20d or shadow compensation on k-m make things only worse..

so I believe the same is with k-7.

one just needs to turn off all DR expanders such as shadow or highlight compensations, and widen the DR via ACR or lightroom by boosting shadows, otherwise things get more noisy, and less pleasant to watch..

but that's only my subjective opinion..

so, will anyone show some high ISO k-7 images? slightly postprocessed as you usually do..

thanks daemos for your input, but these photos were not everyday shooting photos, these were from series of so called measurations.. i'm interested in pictures taken during photo shoots indoor or outdoor..
