K-m question

Probably a dumb question, but my other half finds the LCD screen on her K-m really distracting in low light situations and particularly at night when you would need flash or long exposure.
it does I agree wreck you night vision.
so is there some way to turn it off or dim it right down? I cant see any way to do it in the menu system

I set it so that I press the Info button for it to show, then press the Info button again for it to turn off. Whenever I press the shutter button or any button at all, the LCD won't show unless I press the info, very useful for at night and conserving battery.

I forgot how I did it because I no longer have my K-m, but if you mess around with the Menu options, you'll figure it out.

Yeah, that is the best way. And don't forget you can use shutter half-press to turn even the review screen off.
