My broken K10d

Hello

I received my k10d from CRIS becuase I had had multiple problems with my k10d, Auto focusing problem, flash and Eye piece Lens....
Waited for 2 months and paid for $272 to fix them.
I've found others porblems except those since I got it.

1. I cannot use Raw button,,Cannot press the button.
2. Auto Turn off function is not working, even though I read a manual book to use the function.
3. sometimes, 5 pictures our 100.. comes out RAW files even though I cannot use the RAW button.

There were no that kind of problems before I sent k10d to CRIS.

moreover, There was not my bodycap when I received even though I sent it.
I left a message on Pentax. They havent eplied yet.

Frankly, I dont like their service
When my camera was under warranty about 1 year ago, there were cracks on eyepiece lens, which is outside of viewfinder. So I sent it to CRIS, they said the whole viewfinder should have been replaced and charged for $150. I said no~~~
This time they said eye piece was replaced... not the whole view finder.
Is that true that they should replace whole view finder for eyepiece lens?

I cannot trust what they said.
and make some problems on my camera.

What am i supposed to do??
Just sent it to CRIS?

Thank you for reading my poor writing...

Welcome to the forum.
Sorry to hear this story as your first post.

Doesn't sound quite right...
The RAW button feature seems to be epileptic and the auto-turn off should be working as long as no buttons are being pressed for the designated time period... which gives me the thought that perhaps the RAW button is now faulty - automatically being held down, causing the camera to think you're actively using the camera and not turning off by itself...

That should not be happening and if under warranty from the repair place is worth pursuing...

is CHRIS a pentax approved repair site? DId you get the same camera back (i.e check serial no?)

I use pentax canada (within 10 miles of my home) and had no complaint on the repair of my K10D, which had the shutter fail, and which had shutter , mirror mechanism and lens mount replaced plus 100% cleaning including the viewfinder. Except from obvious wear points, came back looking like new.

C.R.I.S. is a Pentax repair place. Pentax does not do repairs themselves these days. All the repair work has been out sourced to other companies in the USA.
But all parts have to come through the Pentax parts outfit.
Here is the list of repair places. Notice the address of Pentax and C.R.I.S.
