K-x Autofocus speed?

Could anyone tell me if the K-x af in low light is as good as the k-7? Thanks.

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I have no idea why the search function of this forum is so inconvenient. I cannot get any results searching for "K-x," and I have to add "mm" to for example "18-55" to search for a particular lens.

Yes, it is as good as the K-7. But the K-7 has a secret weapon if needed: autofocus assist lamp.

Agree with Innershell. Kx is fast and sure even in low light. Wish the K20 has similar performance. I think it must be something to do with the PRIME II processor, as Pentax did not mention any new implementation on the AF module.
