Some shots from my K-x

So I'm new to this whole thing(SLR cameras in general), so I have not really done anything manual. All these are on auto, the last one is on landscape mode.

Hand held - Straight out of camera

Tripod HDR - Straight out of camera

Tripod - Straight out of camera

Monopod - Cropped, Vibrance upped

Some bright colours coming through here.
Beautiful.
The HDR feature seems to work really well.

This one is probably the most colorful of the bunch.

Looks good. Excellent colours.

Is that the kit lens? If it is, the kit lens on the K-x has been performing really well in the photos I've seen taken with it so far.

And thanks for the HDR sample. Was it hard to set up? I haven't tried that feature yet.

Yes it was the kit lens. I have some older glass, but my adapter was sketchy so I returned it and am waiting on the official Pentax version.

For HDR you just go into the menu, turn it on, and select the level. From there you hit the shutter release and it does the rest.

My only complaint about this mode is that you can't use the timer function, only remote, which is why I'm not in the chair.

I had to check your local, as I was pretty damn sure that was Mt. Hood. You in Happy Valley or Damascus?

I don't even smoke tabacco or drink alcohol. I also hate beer.
I like tea.

I didn't know it was possible to get a "buzz" on tea.
