Good to hear your first impressions were positive! Look forward to hearing more about it from you. Nice video too.

If you haven't discovered it already, there is a useful K-x video thread happening here:

No, don't get me wrong. Please post more here!

I just thought you'd find the video thread useful. In particular, it had a tip in there to deal with brightness flaring, which I noticed happening in your video, by using the AE-L button - after being reconfigured from the default - to lock camera ISO sensitivity when shooting a scene.

Thanks!

Audio tracks were from "Deep Forest - Dao Dezi World Mix" album. I edited descritptions to at least give the project name some credit.

I posted this to let everyone know that DOF control is more than possible when shooting video with K-x and also all the glass that fits on your camera can be used! Bokina doesnt have A setting and still can be used fine.

what format does the video save in? i have a HD JVC 60gb hard drive cam, and the quality is great, but it saves the vids in a strange format that not even VLC will play. i can change the name, but i lose quality. i am still looking for a good converter program, but i am curious about the vid format for the k-x.

ok, i downloaded a video converter that does not lose quality for the JVC, but i am still interested in what video format the k-x saves in.
