K-X body $550 at Newegg with free sling bag

Does Newegg give these types of offers often? I can't quite commit to buy yet, but $560 shipped with a lens is so hard to pass up. How long is it likely to be until another deal comes along?

well, you can get a single lens kit as low as $580 before bing cashback of 8% on ebay (prodigital2000 - as long as you can live with the 1yr intl warranty, they seem to have a good reputation). You wont get a free bag, but that choosing one yourself is half the fun anyway!

Generally yes. They come and go every few weeks. Free shipping drifts in and out too. I have lost count the number of laptops, iplayers, memory and cameras I've purchased from them. Great service.

Depending on item, I sometimes get a better price on Amazon occasionally from other reputable sellers.

Newegg is fantastic, I ordered the K-X 18-55 kit on Thursday night and got my camera Friday! Still waiting for the sling bag.

With the promtion code the breakdown was.

K-X 18-55 Kit $521
Pentax Sling Bag $39.99

Total $560.99

Beware of the 15% restocking fee charged by Newegg. According to their website return policy, if you decide you don't like the camera for whatever reason, there is a 15% restocking fee for returns.

No the bag was free it was invoiced strangely. The camera with bag was $609 with $1.99 shipping. Minus the $50 discount brought it to $560.99

I was expecting one invoice for $560.99 but got 2 invioces one for $39.99 and one for $521

The camera came from Chicago which is why I got it so quick, and the bag is scheduled for delivery tommorow from N.J.

How long did it take your order to process? I ordered the same deal last night (Sun.) at like 6pm and as of right now (Mon.) at 3:30 my order status still says processing. I live in Chicago so i'm hoping it will ship quickly once it gets past this point.

it will ship tonite for sure. They generally ship same business day if you get order in by lunchtime(assuming in stock).

How does an international warranty differ from an American one? Also, when I searched through Bing, I had a hard time finding my way to Ebay and didn't see Prodigital(Through Bing anyhow). When you do navigate from Bing to Ebay it says you MAY receive 8% back. What does that mean? Sorry for all the questions, but it seems like a heck of a deal and I want in!

I just tried to check out the K-x body with free sling bag and it will not accept the DSLR10B promo code.
It says promo code not valid. But - the code is good till Nov 20th.
WTH is up with that?
