My Pentax K-x film setup

Too much black for me. I think I will trade this out for a red one once I find a good price.

It took me a minute to figure out why this camera was in the film section...

Then i figured it out. That contraption is a digital to film converter?

How does it handle Tri-x?

---------------

my mistake, not in the film section after all. post left to record my moment of confusion.

Where did you get that great looking center pinch Pentax lens cap?

Looks like a mounting system to convert the K-x to a "digital video device".

That's a fully adjustable 3-axis video camera mount.
It can turn left/right, up/down, rotate 360-degrees.
Since they use the same standard Tripod screw attachment, it should work fine with the K-X or K-7 for video.

The knob on the left is your focus for film lenses?

I'd be interested in knowing more about this I used to be big into amateur filmmaking myself, and these days it seems like you can get better results for even cheaper

What sort of rig is this? Self-assembled? Kit?

Correct.

The setup is a follow focus which was a kit meant to mount on a set of rails, but I was able to make a slight modification to make it fit on a single quick release tripod plate.
