BTW these are all from RAW with just the default Lightroom noise reduction. Luminance at 0, colour noise reduction at 25. Turning up the luminance slider would have made a big difference...

This is pretty much what I bought a K-x for, thanks for sharing. Just unboxed mine
Batteries don't work.

Too bad your Eneloops only took 150 shots. I have a new pack of Eneloops ready to go in and an Energizer 2450 batteries too. Hope we find a good battery to give us the 400+ shots.

Varta 2300 works fine and make more than 400 shots but still don't know how many in total
Played to much with video and live view so don't know yet

Thanks edx for posting here. The shots are incredible, the noise itself adds "depth" to the shots. The street shot is lovely, while some probably prefer a silky smooth sky, I like the way it is, a natural look so to speak.
