Haha, yeah it might need alittle more yellow tinge (sp?) but it is pretty darn close to almost bisque!

It is alot of fun to see all the new members around here with their new Kxs!

Just heard from Pentax that I shouldn't expect my navy blue kit till December. Would probably be quicker to order a custom one from Japan.

Very nice shots Julia and I notice you've used an LX-3 to take the pictures. Thumbs up.

Pentax should ship the colored cameras with a matching can of spray paint, so you can "color match" your lenses.
Sounds to me like a disaster waiting to happen.

thanks for all comments ...

I found these to be fine. I had to drill a little hole through the side and add a small lanyard but the price is right. Since you're in Japan, these are used on small Sony video cameras.

yup, i've learn so much from LX3 before jump to K-x, not GF1
i choose (bigger sensor) APS-C to get narrower DOF than mFT, but in still in small enough camera.

this is another "test" shot using DA 40mm Limited yesterday afternoon, finally i have bokeh in my picture

^^ iso800 1/80s

taken with my lovely LX3

^^ iso80 (not 800), f2.8 2s

Julia: Great shots! I was even more impressed with your shots of the K-x then the super cool look of the camera itself!! Nice Bokeh in the first shot. I had bought the equivalent of the LX1. Great camera but as you noted the small sensor makes limiting DOF quite difficult. Still nice small cameras. Keep posting your shots. (also from the other posts in this thread you may need to take a few shots of your strap. LOL)
