Curious about the white K-x kit - have you seen it?

I was all set to buy the black K-x kit yesterday from prodigital2000 on eBay with the 10% cash back, but they ran out. They do have some of the white ones in stock. Initially I wasn't interested, but after looking at some pics I'm more curious. I don't think I've ever seen a white camera of any kind in person. My concern is that it will look "gimmicky" or cheap. For those of you who own one or have seen one, what do you think?

i have held white kit many times and personally think it is a sexy piece of item. Looks wonderful.

I'm a mechanic and somewhat of a redneck. A few greasy fingerprints all over a white camera would really give it some class.

The whole point of using Pentax is to be different. You will get all the attention with a White Pentax, specially from the ladies. Most my Canon friends surprised that the K-x is so small, lightweight and fast, they also jealous of the collection of lenses i have and how cheap and great they are. It's good to be different. So go for it.

just did! pulled the trigger on the white kit from prodigital. with bing cashback, i got it for $521 with free shipping!!!

I thought the same thing as did my friends, but I took a chance and it looks much better in person, IMO.

The white k-x actually looks nice even with Black/Sliver lenses. The best combo is with the DA 40mm.
