Ring Flash with K-7D

When I moved to the K-10D, my AF 140C ring flash did work properly so it was stored.
As most of my work is macro for scientific work, I have found that a ring flash (when
tripod is not practical) brings added sharpness to the floral details. Thus I plan to purchase the updated/compatable AF 160 ring flash soon. Is there anyone out there that is currently using this with a K-7D and how are the results on with P-TTL?
Any problems?

I am also interested to know the response to your question as I am also seeking a flash for the sigma 105 with the k100D (for wifey).

Can't help you with the ring flash, but just a note, it's the K-7 not K-7D, since Pentax have dropped the "D".

I use both the Alien Bees Ringflash, and the new, updated Pentax AF-160FC Ringflash.

Now, while I can't talk about Macro work (as I've never done Macro), I can say that the flash on the K7 is simply brilliant (no pun intended)
