Spot in K-x video?

I just got a white Pentax K-x and when testing the video, my eye was drawn to what looked like a bad pixel on the live view LCD around the center. I'm like great, but it's just the LCD, not the actual recorded video, or so I thought.

Turning live view off, the bad pixel was gone in all other uses of the LCD. Could it be the sensor?

In live view for video mode, it's really strong on the LCD, bright blue spot. Live view in photo mode, more of a dark, less visible spot.

I took some video (HD and SD), with two lenses, and some photos, at 12MP and 2MP.

I can't seem to find the spot in photos, but darn, the spot is clearly visible in the HD video on my PC in each test with two lenses.

Here's a video, with spot enlarged at corner, use HD with fullscreen to see it clearly:

Or here's a cropped still:

Should I mess with the dust removal options in the menus, or is this a clear sign of a bad sensor?

UPDATE:

Used Pixel Mapping and that seems to of cleared up the problem.

Looks like a stuck pixel to me. Can you run pixel mapping on the K-x? If you can, you should, though I don't know if it will do anything for video.
Stuck pixels happen, they are an acceptable deficiency.

I can understand it being acceptable for photos, not even visible, but this pretty much ruins the camera for video, plus in the worst spot.

I think I saw pixel mapping in a menu, bug will have to look at the manual to see what it can do.

I can probably exchange or return this still with amazon

I ran the pixel mapping and that seems to of fixed the issue with the video. Can't find the spot anymore.

So glad, didn't want to deal with returning/exchanging it.
