Real Picture of blue K-X?

Hi!
I'm nearly ready to buy a K-X and the only question is in which colour I will take it.
When seeing the pressphotos I really wanted the blue K-X with it's shiny surface.
But yesterday I saw one in a shop (behind Glass with a bright lamp shining on it) and it wasn't glossy at all. More comparable to the red one.
Now, does anyone have a real picture of the blue model? I really searched, but wasn't succesful. Hope you can help me.
regards, safdas

Ok, you probably meant the dark blue one ...
No, I haven't seen that one either, but I don't think it makes a big difference to black.
If I would buy a Kx, I would get a red one, with the red lens.

Hi!
How small is the world (for non Germans, Bremen and Hamburg a about 1 car-hour away).
You're right, I meant the Navy-Blue one.
I'm more and more tending to buy a simple, boring black cam.
regards

navy is a pretty safe bet... not much different to black.

I have the navy one. In my opinion it's quite distinct from the black. The finish is glossy but has a bit of a sparkly element to it. I can take a picture of it later today, probably.

Hi!
That would be wonderful!
My decision will depend on that.

it looks shiny and sparkly in this shot but I guess it depends on the lighting as well. It looks very elegant to me though. They should call it sapphire.

Can you post a few *real life* (not marketing) pix of the Navy blue K-x ?

Hmmm... I want a non-black K-x, and was leaning toward the navy, but I kind of like the less glossy finish of the white or red... so now I'm not so sure... The red isn't glossy like that photo shows of the navy one, is it?

I'd like to see a picture of the blue as well - it looks a bit glossier than the white/red in production pictures.

Erm, sorry. Ended up being a busy weekend. I'll try getting to it tonight. The problem is I get home after dark and I don't have a proper setup for shooting in normal house light. :ugh:

Yes, it isn't. But the navyblue one isn't that shiny as seen on the marketing pics.
That's why I wanted to see real pics. Hopefully deadwolfbones will show us some.
For me, it now doesn't really matter anymore if I get a blue or a black one. It just has to be soon by me and i'm happy.

Here you go, guys... sorry, had to use flash due to crappy weather and getting home after dark.

It's not really quite so... sparkly to the naked eye. The flash brings that out. The color is about correct, though.

where are the 90mm macro studio strobe shots?! oh wait, we wanted real life

looks pretty nice, seems to have a similar sheen to the white body - not super shiny, not matte either, a nice in-between if you are the wishy washy sort, haha. While we are someone needs to get some 'real world' red body shots in here as well.
