Show me your pictures-K-X with a prime!

Well the title tells the story-I'm really interested-there are lot's of images taken with the kit lens around-let's see what does high quality glass can do with this tempting camera?

Thanks Andras

Already posted this in another forum, but it's the best I have so far, since I just got my k-x this morning. Taken with an old Pentax-M 1:1.7 50mm lens.

nothing new or special here

i do not have anything new that i have not already posted in some other thread.

But for the sake of putting them together, here you go once more.

1. 50mm F1.2 at f1.2.

Next few photos are from 28mm F2.8 M.

This is panaroma from stitching images from 28mm F2.8 M

Next few from 135mm F2.5 (K or M ???)

Anyway all of these could have been shot with any other cams.

Thanks putting them together is the idea of this thread-I like the panorama shot very much!

BTW I changed my mind a little all pictures taken with a K-X and NOT the kit lens are welcomed-e.g. not only primes but zooms too.

Nice bike like the colors very much-how do you find it's sharpness at low iso compared to other pictures taken with the FA 50 and your previous Pentax camera?

sharpness is not a factor of the camera really, besides the slight 2mp drop from the k20d which is negligible.

I noticed generally the Kx gets the focus right more often, however I also noticed that this FA 50mm front focus's on the Kx as well, and it did on the k20d.

So i need to get into the firmware and adjust the focus a bit, however not sure you can do that on a per lens basis.

Pentax Kx / Pentax K-x AF adjustment through undocumented "debug mode"

Doesn't look like you can do it per lens, but it probably only takes 2 minutes to do once you figure out the right settings.

Really, I must be doing something wrong with my pictures, cause the ones above look just amazing. I no longer feel like posting mine which would look "not so good" compared
