Just wondering if the rebadged Samsung lenses work with the in body correction feature of the new bodies? Hopefully someone has tried it?

I'm bumping this old thread because I basically have the same question. I'm considering a second hand Samsung K-mount lens at the moment.

Can someone with a Samsung lens please try to mount it on their Pentax DSLR and check whether the lens corrections are available or disabled? Please?

So... tried this with a D-XENON 18-55 and 50-200 on my K-5 and both offered lens correction. My Pentax FA-35 doesn't show them, suggesting those Samsung lenses are supported.

Whether this will be the same on K-7, I can't say, so may not be much help.

DA/DFA rebadged lenses should support correction, just not the 35mm.

FWIW, the optical corrections in software like DxO Optics Pro treat the Samsung lenses the same as the Pentax lenses.
