Best way to ship camera without body cap?

I am interested in purchasing a Pentax DSLR, but was informed that a body cap was not included in the purchase.

What would be the best way to seal the camera for shipping without a body cap?

I thought of packing tape, but tape residue might affect the contacts. Saran (plastic wrap) might work, but not sure if it seals properly. Bubble wrap, I have been told, is not good for electronics because of static electricity. And, I would think aluminum foil would be out of the question.

Any other ideas / suggestions?

Sorry but do you know how carefully the camera has been used and stored? To be honest I'd probably walk away from this deal and buy from someone who is compulsive enough to keep the body cap (or has the sense to buy one before selling their camera).

I used to ship electronics almost daily, bubble wrap does not cause problems with electronics.

I think if I was the seller I would spend the few bucks for a new cap.

Bubble wrap is probably fine and should be used anyway, cap or not.

Wrap it in stretch wrap, put it in bubble wrap and box it with some foam beads.
That should be sufficient.
