i see the k100d vertical grip on the ownusers chinese site but its not there on the english one and i cant find it for purchase anywhere either. does anyone know whats up because I am dying for this to become available.

Sounds intressting, but useing 6AA = 7,2Volt if you use NiMh batteries. It sounds too high, in-camera batteries are 4AA and it bee (NiMh) 4,8Volts. Remember that some recharging VR-3 have to high voltage.
