5 seconds is impressive, don`t care who the shooter is. My personal best is around 1.5 seconds, can only skip one heartbeat before things get hairy and scary.

Whew, glad I found this thread.

The rattle inside really had me worried while unboxing my new K-x tonite. It's weird that I never noticed it all the times I handled the different K-x's in the store.

Pentax should really have a piece of paper inside the box, on top of the camera, explaining this phenomenon.
