f - - error K200d

As the title suggests, I have an f - - error.

I have seen and read other posts in reagrds to this error and I know it is an issue with the body and the lense communicating.

My problem is, I have the twin lense pack and have had the camera for over a year and I use both lenses regularly, but today I swap lenses and the f - - error comes up for only one of the lenses.

The questions are, is it broken, can it easily be fixed, is it expensive?

The lense has never been dropped, it id stroed in a camera bag etc.

please help.

Try to clean the contacts, and make sure the lens is properly mounted.

If there is an aperture ring, make sure it's set to 'A'- otherwise, the screen will say f -- all day!

We assuming that you are using a lens with the Pentax "A" contacts.

If there are no contacts (K and M series as well as M42 screw mount) or if the aperture ring is off the "A" position, it will always show F _ _ _.
