This post even made me more paranoid, to the point where nobody touches my camera, despite already being paranoid =P

Now, let me get this straight......girl friend holds child and camera....child gets heavy and girlfriend drops camera.......????????????

Solutions:
Get a stronger girlfriend.

Send current girlfriend to gym classes

Teach child to stand on its own two feet (age is no excuse here!!)

Buy new camera / lens (whatever) & forgive girlfriend and enjoy the "kiss & make-up" consequences.
