The K-X and K-7 support PTP - Doesn't PTP support tethered shooting?

Any Linux user tried ptpcam --list-properties on the K-X or K-7?
Any Mac user tried Aperture to try to control the K-M or K-7?
Any FastPictureViewer users tried to control the K-M or K-7?

Thank you
Russell

The K-7 shows up as a device to import from in Aperture, but the 'start tether session' menu is greyed out.

Are you setting PC-P for the USB connection on the camera?

Thank you
