I guess the gold lettering looks nice. Personally, I prefer to pass on any straps that have the camera manufacturer's name plastered on them. For that matter, I sometimes put a piece of black tape over the Pentax name on the body; ditto for the other brands I use. Old habits die hard.
Years ago when I was a PJ and the camera bodies were all bright chrome, I often put black tape over all the chrome parts, as did my colleagues. Looked ugly as hell but it cut down on reflections off the body that could be hazardous on certain assignments. Ahh the good old days.
