SR and wireless flash on K200D

Playing a bit around with the wireless flash option on my K200D, I noticed that the shake reduction deactivates when the camera is using wireless flash. The manual states the same.

Given the fact that flash usually solves the shutter speed issue, this has no effect on shooting, but I am just curious on why is it so... does anyone know any practical reason why the remote flash would deactivate the SR?
