The Nikon D90 is somewhat of a class (and a half) above the K-x -
the Nikon equivalent is probably closer to the D5000 - which is still about US$140 more expensive with their 18-55 kit zoom lens at about US$696 low price from a reputable vendor.....
The lowest price I've seen for the K-x with kit lens from a reputable vendor is US$549......
The Nikon D90 is harder to compare as its kit zoom is 18-125mm a much more expensive lens - but even in its
Body Only form - the lowest price I've seen is US$789.....
So if the Nikon D90 has really dropped to the same level as the K-x in Sweden - then
either the Pentax K-x is grossly over-priced -
or you have a real
BARGAIN -
don't walk but
RUN and buy that Nikon D90......
