Input voltage on K-7

Hi all,

I stumbled upon this handy AC adapter on DX:

It has a variable outpout of 4,2V, 5V, 8,4V and 12V, the K-7 says on it that it has an input voltage of 8,3V, so would it hurt to hook the two of them up?

Best regards,

The 0.1V is not going to cause a problem but the power supply must be able to give enough current and if the K7 is the same as the K20, it has a unique DC input plug.

The DX adapter seems to have a connector that looks a lot at the power adapter of the original adapter.

I wonder what the not-connected voltage is of the original adapter and what current it can provide. Haven't been able to find some info on that subject.

The DX version can deliver 1,5 Amp at 8.4 Volt
