Now i am really Pentax "purposely ignoring" the K20D?
I'm thinking they want people to move away from it an to the k7. They just built too good of a camera with the k20d

What do you mean by "Real world the Kx performance blows away the K20d"

It's interesting that the K10D still has the highest score compared to K20D and K-7. Will probably do so even after the K-x will be scored.

It seems Canon guys are having a fit now because the 7D scored below the Nikon D90

Could be because their relationship with Samsung has gone south...

I can't remember who (falconeye, maybe) pointed out that dxomark people don't understand what they're talking about.
Well, that is partly what I think, esp. when it comes to their dxomark figure.

However, their "Full SNR" curves (not available in compare mode, and you have to "print-normalize" yourself) still is the best resource on the web (and which I tried to replicate in my blog).

I wonder where the Kx will stand once tested.
My own DxO-style tests indicate that Nikon D5000 and K-x have almost equal performance, with a slight (~0.2EV) advantage for K-x for dynamic range. And at ISO 3200 and above, probably "smoothed" away by DxO once they test the K-x.
